Want to promote your non-profit organization’s training or services? Well-researched white papers use facts and logic to persuade prospects that your offering can solve their problems. I am a certified white paper specialist trained by That White Paper Guy himself—Gordon Graham!
How does this work?
Step 1: Kick-off
I’ll learn everything I can about your organization, your offering and your target market, gathering credible sources to use in the white paper. During our kick-off meeting, we’ll discuss the purpose of your white paper, the intended audience and your call to action (CTA).
Step 2: Outline
I’ll create a detailed one-page outline informed by your goal, audience and the research conducted in Step 1, which I’ll send to you for review and feedback. This crucial step saves time and ensures the white paper is going in the right direction.
Step 3: Gather Evidence
Here, I will gather compelling evidence to build an effective argument for your organization’s training or service. Throughout the research process, I will gather reliable sources to build the case and establish credibility for your training or service.
Step 4: Executive Summary
Once you have approved the outline, I’ll write the executive summary for your review and approval. This ensures the tone and voice are appropriate for your organization and audience, and it gives you an idea of how the white paper will sound.
Step 5: Review & Revise
Using the outline, research and executive summary, I’ll write a crisp, clear white paper that encourages readers to take the next step. I’ll send the draft to you for review and feedback. Once I have incorporated your feedback, I will send the completed, finalized white paper to you.

How can I use a white paper?
Your white paper will build trust between your organization and current and prospective clients. It presents a problem that your audience has and provides a solution—your training or service. The white paper will be easy to read and will be formatted to include lots of white space to discourage reader fatigue.
Once you have your white paper, you can repurpose it in a variety of ways. You could break it down into a series of blog posts, convert it into a webinar, design it into an infographic and use quotes on your social media.
